Dear Grandfather
Dear Grandfather,
How does it feel like to be in heaven?
Is the Sun always seen there?
Is the weather never mean?
Do you celebrate everything?
Is there room for every human being?
Dear Grandfather,
I sit and wonder
What the world is and what is there after?
Down here on the earth,
Everything is in turmoil
And none wants to recoil.
At night, I close my eyes-
And see a lot many lights
It makes such a miraculous sight:
Everything shines,
Everyone dines;
Each has a gorgeous cloth,
Amongst them, there isn’t a loathe;
Sadness never creeps in,
Everyone is kith and kin;
All do their duty,
In that only they find beauty;
Nothing is expected,
All are respected;
Love and care spares none,
And oh! Just everything is fun!
Dear Grandfather,
The image on my mind doesn’t seem possible
But is there really a place somewhere that is not so feeble?
I wonder if this place is Heaven-
Where everything is God-given.
Do tell me Grandpa,
Speak to me and let me know
For I need a place to go…
