night in September
the park as I walk in
looks of beauty and serenity of
stepping my feet after one the other
on leaves crimson and orange crisp
fluttering and flying the cool breeze through
that September night I walked
fly south the wings of amethyst
across the navy blue and puffs of white through
arrows and lines diagonal formations they glide in
above the canopy of yellow-green, orange; glimpses I see of them
that night of September I walked
fields of green dew moistened of
clinging and trickling down blades of grass water droplets
like crystals a myriad of, in the sun setting light
of color bursting (indigo, dandelions & sapphire) as it hits the mist
of that night I walked in September
