I play my guitar
I play my guitar
In the middle of the night
Each string I strum
Seems to hit me
Hit my heart
I play a sad tune
Thinking of you
I cry as I
Sing those longing words
They come from my heart
They come from within
Those words I never could say
You never felt for me
Those words I sing
My fantasies of a ring
Of anything
Showing someone could
Care for me
But thats all they'll ever be
My simple little fantasies
As i strum my guitar
In the middle of the night
My heart still fighting
Against my mind
Who will ever win?
When my reality is gone from sight?
My guitar seems to sing
The tune inside of me
I don't need to say a word
My hearts already heard
