There Was a Small Boy
There was a small boy
and he had some friends.
His mom always cried
because she was hurt.
His dad would never
be around to play.
There was a rebel
who had lots of friends.
His mom would yell more
because she was mad.
His dad was somewhere,
going his own way.
There was a young man
who didn’t need friends.
His mom wasn’t there
because she’s with Him.
His dad wasn’t there
and that was okay.
There was an adult
and he made it big.
His mom wasn’t there
to share it with him.
His dad sees someone,
and they talked one day.
There was an old man
and he had a son.
He would never cry,
he would never yell.
He would always play
and know just what to say.
