To Love is To Loose
These walls are her prison
This room is her jail
She looks out the window
What if she just fell
To her knees on the floor
And cried her life away
Sitting in agony
Wishing he would stay
With her here in this moment
No matter the who what when why how
Shes like Alice in wonderland
About to drown
In these sorrowful eyes
That have stories behind them
About hearts and heart break
And what she’ll do to find him
At her balcony in Rome
Greece, Paris, or France
No matter the location
She wants the romantic last dance
On the ballroom floor
In the Cinderella dress
To lose a shoe
And to find her prince
Who just left out the door
To the gravel dirt road
With no care in the world
About the girl he divorced
With the heart on her sleeve
And him on her mind
She has to start over
It just takes a little time
