Once there was a little girl
That wanted to be a dinosaur
So she grew a pair of long sharp teeth and she shrunk her elbows up to her ribs.
She leaned forward when she walked and she ate little hamburger patties
But then the patties made her sick so she decided to lie down
And she grew her arms back down to her hips
So she could curl them around her human toes
And pick at her toenails and pick at her fingernails
And she picked away at her teeth too until the were her regular old canines
And then she went to bed.

I love the beginning!  I felt the ending came a little too soon but I also like that about the poem because it leaves the reader wanting more. Bravo! <3
