Why Free Verse? A Sincere Question
What is the worth
of a free verse poem?
Is it not just
a snippet
of thought?
A snippet alone
Is it unworthy of extension
or is it more beautiful on its own?
Structured like lyrics of a song
and unbound by the rules of grammar
So is the value of
a free form poem
in that it is merely a free
Formed thought?
Or does it have value at all?
