I don’t have to be a stepper to put my foot down
Even though I’m a princess there’s no need for a crown
Don’t have to fly a plane to be the captain
Don has to act like you so I would fit in
Don’t have to be Titanic to sail the sea
Don’t have to be a beast just to meet beauty
Don’t have to lose a shoe to find my prince
Don’t have to show classy with a white picket fence
Don’t need your attitude ‘because I’ve got my own
Don’t need a trophy to prove that I won
Don’t have to have wings to soar the sky
Don’t have to be cute ‘cause I’m sweeter than pie
Don’t have to be the cheerleader to date the jock
To have to be the point to end up on top
Don’t need to wear brands like Aeropostale
Don’t need to be a rocker to love rock-n-roll
Don’t have to be a rapper to have my own rhymes
Because being who I am take up way too much time.
