She doesn't understand
She's my best friend
But she doesn't understand,
She says she knows how I feel
That she understands
But she has no idea,
I try telling her that
But I don't want to be rude
So I just nod,
She says she feels bad
I say I bet you do
She doesn't,
I moved away from everyone I knew
My home town
My friends,
I moved
From my dad
My step mom
My step brothers
My life,
She has no idea what I'm going through
I met new friends
But it isn’t the same,
Sure I keep in contact
But it's still hard,
The only thing she understands
Is what it’s like
To lose her best friend
