Marine Woman

You could say that I look up to you,
You can see the pain on my face as I turn blue.
A smile, it's worth a million words,
Yet a frown is more than a noun.
I chased you down, for a simple hello.
Thinking everything was okay, your emotions were mellow,
Mellow towards me, not the day,
But if I may say,
They weren't.

I stood by and watched you walk past me,
Not even acknowledging me,
Just walking by, "F*** her, let her be."
Were those your thoughts, Ms. Marine?
I still waed, a smiled something excitedly, for I look up to you,
You made me stronger,
You're what I would like to be;
Someday.

A nasty attitude is what I recieved,
That makes me question, if the one you look up to, hated you, how would you feel?
