What would it be like
To live in a cardboard box?
If all lived in small, geometric cubes?
Would there be skyscrapers of paper
Or sculptures of glue?
Perhaps wheels of newspaper crumples
Would roll down wood paved roads
Carrying its weight's worth.
There, rustling --
A common sound that permeates.
Surviving --
All with a home.
None would be without
If all were paper and glue;
If all had a cardboard box.

Beautiful--simplistic---deep. You truly make me think how life would be without a home in addition to the intriguing parts of a cardboard box (a very ordinary piece of material)
