Can't Go Back Again
Sitting in the dark,
thinking I can't go back again.
You ask me to love you when I did,
but love can take us so far.
Voices in my head said we were never alive,
but I know I won't survive.
I try to burn the memories away,
but your screams runs through my brain.
Remembering your blood,
makes me cry a little inside.
I didn't want this to happen,
but voices tells me different.
Looking back at the memory,
actually makes me smile with laughter.
Sitting in the dark,
thinking I can't go back again.
