A Person's Perception
She is "that girl"
nobody bothered to learn her name.
She wasn't invisible,
but she wasn't seen.
At least not for being her.
No one gave her a chance.
Being seen as the ugly girl
never got to her.
She didn't care if everyone
called her hideous.
Because when she looked in the mirror
she saw beauty.
Thats all that mattered.
