The Night
I look up and there is darkness
No stars, no moon, just darkness
The light is gone, and might never come back
The Monsters are out, prowling the streets, looking for its victim
The night is dead
But the sun is still not shining
I look up and there is darkness
Darkness, Darkness, Darkness
All I ever see is darkness
No light to be seen
No light will ever come
The monsters are almost here and I cannot stand it
I walk out into the street
waiting for them to take me
The monsters walk up to me and stare
I close my eyes and stop breathing
I open my eyes and they are gone
I start to see a light on the horizon
The monsters are gone, and the light is here
I feel a sense of hope and excitement
The days of night have just begun
