Lost and Found
Years ago I promised never to quit
To rage ahead until I'm dead
To run where others walk
Scream where others talk
In all my fury
I forgot about beauty
In all this time
I've never taken to mind
That perhaps I lost
What I was trying to find
These thoughts race through my head
As I walk through the dead empty street up ahead
Perhaps just for tonight
I'll forget what I know
I'll admire the glow
Of the sun on the snow
I'll take it all in
And let my eyes roam
Perhaps just for tonight
I'll let the wind carry me home
