Broken Lightning
The storm rolls in.
A perfect day, the bright sky.
Ruined.
The first rumble.
Quiet.
The second rumble.
Louder.
Third rumble.
Killer.
Is it coming for me?
Or is God crying for us?
Have we ruined the world?
And God is forlorn?
Forks of lightning break up the sky.
The beautiful sky.
I miss it.
Yet, I feel powerful now.
Lightning breaks the darkness.
It lets me know that someone is there.
For me.
The lightning is my saviour.
It has broken the sorrow.
Replacing it with more.
