I Try

I try not to care.
I say I don't mind.
But every time I see your face,
I'm back at square one.
I try not to want you,
or need you.
But I can't hold back my feelings.
And my tears are bursting.
I don't want to love you,
anymore...

The author's comments:
I am in love with my best friend. We tried to be together once, and of course it didn't work. The only way I can express how I feel, besides lay down and cry, it to write about it. i hope you like my first poem.
