Mechanical Visions I See
People are people
And our complexity thinner than it may seem
We are powered by motives
Blowing off steam
Mechanical beings, running day, sometimes night
We work in assembly lines, intersecting each other’s lives
Here, take a wrench
Says he who may fix your broken pieces
But an incorrect twist could leave you out of order, defeated
A nut and a bolt
A twist and a turn
We work to run our lives
But are run by others in return
