Do You Know...
Do you know what it feels like,
To always be excluded?
To be afraid to say what you actually feel?
To be scared that people are always talking about you?
Do you know how it sounds,
When you hear the snickers arise from behind you?
When you hear your name in conversations?
Do you know how it feels,
To never be invited into groups?
To always be rejected by your peers?
To be INVISIBLE…
Someday I’ll shine.
Someday you’ll know my name.
Someday I’ll be important.
And someday…
Maybe someday,
You’ll realize it’s ok to talk to me.
That I’m not a loser after all.
Realize that I could be someone someday.
But until then,
I’ll just sit here alone.
Forcing a smile…
