Snowy Morning
My boots crunch as I truck through the snow
My feet sinking deep down with each step
A fluffy white blanket as far as I can see
Bare trees are covered with sparkling, sleek ice
Like a glazed doughnut.
The creek in the backyard, slowly freezing over
Looks like shining crystals.
Not a cloud in sight
The sky makes the snow seem even whiter.
The only sound is the wind
Quietly whistling the soft, sweet sounds of winter.
