The Little Owl

A little owl lives in a tree,
he is as happy as can be.
The owl couldn’t ask for more,
not even for a whole store.
A black ominous storm cloud came,
and it suddenly began to rain.
Down went the tree
the owl hooted a scream.
He felt all was lost,
at such a high cost.
The owl looked far and near,
he even shed a little owl tear.
Then amazingly,
he found a new green tree.
This is a great new home,
it even smelled like a fresh pine cone!
The owl had never smiled so big,
this tree was no twig.
