Skin stained red
Teeth cracked
Bones broken
Heart attack.

Eyes are empty
Hair is flat
Underneath his perfect hat.

Lips are smug
Features are blank
Bowtie tight, it’s just a prank.

Breath escaped
It’s jailed fate
Crushed under all that weight.

The suit is clean
Buttons neat
Pants pressed
Shoes complete.

The birds are singing
The grass is green
The bells are ringing
The death is clean.
