Voices from the Past
It is mentally impossible for me to relax
Whenever I close my eyes, I hear voices from the past
Voices that scream and yell and shout and curse my name
All these voices are driving me insane
I cant sleep at night
Because all these voices have a ferocious bite
They leave deep mental scars within my brain
All these voices give me terrible pain
Every loud noise echos the past
These voices are as bad as a TNT blast
Every bang, every clatter
All the voices hiss,"Whats the matter?"
The only thing I can do is scream inside my brain
Begging the voices to stop shouting my name
Because these voices aren't mine
They are my parent's every word, all the time
