Ode to bacon

Oh, the bacon I’ve eaten,
Through all of my days,
The variety of flavor,
Is a riveting maze.

When it’s the same type of food
And cooked the same way
How can it taste different?
Come on! No way!

Everyone has his or her preference,
It varies from each other,
Soft, crispy, or not?
You don’t like it?!
Oh, brother,

Their strips of fat
And meaty crisp,
Their juicy grease
And steamy mist
It fills your mouth
With a tons of joy.
Wait… it’s all gone?
I want some more.
