My Dove

I dream of the day,
That I take you away from that place.
Not for reason bad,
Nor reason sad,
But because I wish you mine.
Day by day,
Night by night,
I try with all my might,
To make the future bright.
My love only grows,
And it does sew,
Such deep feelings in me.
I just want to see,
Her there with me,
On that strip,
After my long trip.
And I rhyme,
Because she does deem it fine.
And I love,
My oh so sweet Dove.
