Sleeping Stars.
Tonight
The world falls into a deep sleep
One might say a trance like state

 All the young and old
 Sick and poor
Are tucked away into the stars of dreams

Am I the only one who the stars have left
 Why am I left here
 To fend for myself?

I cant do this on my own
 I need to rest
But I guess its not my turn

 There are others like me
 Someone once said
The stars left us here to protect the earth while they were gone

 Who I asked
And they said you will soon find out
They will come and you will have you turn to rest

 Will I ever come back
 Yes one day
And I will be here awaiting my turn to rest
