Lingering Raindrops

One day was sunshine, Within seconds it rained
longer and harder and over again,
I stayed in my house wile it rained on others
When sunshine broke free the raindrops still wandered,
A drop hit my head as the Sun went down
I couldn't hold the sun up
But I could have let them in.
