All summer long
Do you remember the way you looked at me?
We were so in love,
lying in the sand, you and me just hand in hand,
all summer long
The night that changed everything, replays in my head,
with the lights, the horn, and the scream.
The tires screeching, the wheels are turning.
Everything inside me is burning.
Why did you have to go?
Why couldn’t they just have taken me?
The accident that changed everything.
Now I’m sitting alone, all by myself,
without you here by my side,
What am I going to do?
All summer long.
