The Life of a Train
A train tugs through the tunnel
And goes over the hill.
Toot! Toot! goes the train
As it travels – up and down cities.
It knocks over big rocks
Sidesteps across long rivers
And ends up in docks.
A train tugs through the tunnel
And goes over the hill.
A train is a slave –
Forced to do the job of others.
Its life is bounded with strings
As the conductor steals its freedom.
There is no liberty for a train.
A train tugs through the tunnel
And goes over the hill.
