I didn’t know…
Where I was going to be,
Who I was going to be with,
If I was going to have a real home,
Why he left us,
Why she left me
Why this was happening,
Home to home,
New people to see,
Cities, places, homes
I didn’t know who my mother was,
I didn’t know who my father was,
I didn’t know who my family was.
Switched around to foster home,
And foster home, confused me.
What can you expect?
I was adopted at the age of five.
