If only I was the Sun
I would shine down with the warmth of my rays
I would make people stand on earth in amazement.
If only I was the moon
I would produce major amounts of gravity
And I would rotate around you
The moonlight that I would reflect, would be so bright
I would play hide and seek; only appearing at night
I would appear and be so dear to those who are sleeping
Protecting the ones that are peeking.
If only I was you
I wouldn’t be me
I would love and adore the ones around me
Sharing every moment with the ones I love
Giving credit only to The Man above
The greatness that was shown
To the seen and the unknown
The pain that was felt
The love that was given
If I could only be anyone or anything in the world
I would only be ME
