Recollections
Why must life be so cruel?
I love her so but things reflect the reciprocal
I thought we were closer
When just by my luck, another guy has found her
Not as blind as the rest
He appreciates her and cares
Leaving me behind
Hand in hand they twist the knife
Plunged deep through my heart
Hopeless how love is
A cruel game
What have I done
Cause in her book he is a ten
While I am no longer rated
The friend that helped
The friend that was kind
A figment of a wispy memory
Because she is lost to me
In the embrace of his arms
