I wish we could have a conversation with out a fight
I wish we could still talk like we're close
I wish we could look each other in the eye


Or that you would see me for who I am not who you want me to be

I wish we could go back and fix this mess
I wish we could get out of this situation
I wish we could stop this downward spiral

Or that you would be there for me

I wish we could start over
I wish we could take back what we said
I wish we could see how much pain we caused

Or that you would forgive me 

I wish we could see each other
I wish we could be more than friends
I wish we could use the term "couple" to describe us

I wish more than anything that you could accept me back into your arms.
