Footprints in the Sand

The footprints in the sand,
Are like footprints in my heart.
They disappear eventually,
But they will always be remembered.
The seashells buried in the sand,
Are like memories I've made over my life.
Some are great and beautiful,
While others are poor and ugly.
The seagulls flying over the sea,
Are like my friends who I have always been close with.
In times of struggle and times of joy,
I will always remember them forever and always.
