Untitled
The light and the dark
Separate us from what we are going to be
The golden image reflecting off my silky blonde hair
Or the night skies that are as deep blue as my dark eyes
Shadows falling everywhere I go
Not telling me what I want to hear
They tell me lies
Not the actual truth
I want to be seen,
For the girl who can sing like an angel
Who can invasively compulse
In peoples faces with her “funny” jokes
I want to show the world
That I can climb to the top of mountains
And never look back
But it won’t happen.
They see right past the world of me
I am just an invisible piece
You don’t know me
Don’t look at who I really am
And every time I really love you
I pretend not to care
