The Man of the Hour The Man of the Hour The Man of the Hour
I had thought myself, as long as nobody knew, the most interesting man in the world, carrying my concentrated intellect, my perpetual grace, ever so masterfully, spreading the word about it, giving others a glimpse of it and its effects upon high society, asking of them no cruelty, and only using its effects for my own personal intellectual gain.
I hadn’t disturbed people with the elegance of having become a well respected man, though I have had moments of special consideration for those less fortunate when I see myself in them.
