Rain...

In most minds,
rain is an annoyance.
It stays all four seasons
and never stops.
Grey clouds cover us
in a snug blanket,
a very wet, cozy home.
Although rain drowns
your garden,and floods the streets,
it's peaceful andsmells of home.
The smell of fresh rain,
is one like none other,
I wouldn't sell it
for a year of sunshine.
I sometimes sit in the rain,
with a big smile, eyes closed.
Even after soaking through
my clothes,
I cannot regret
the rain on my face,
My joy,
rain,
rain,
rain.
