Some people ask themselves why they are living, why they were born in the first place, but let me tell you. I know why I live…
I live as an act of faith,
I live for my God,
I live as one not living on the fence but living on the right side,
I live as if I may die tomorrow, knowing that when I die I will be in a better place,
I live to listen,
I live to hear,
I live to show that what’s on the outside is what’s on the inside,
I live so that I will leave a set of footprints in the sands of this life,
I live what I speak and I speak what I live,
I live as a testimony of Gods amazing power and grace,
I live by faith and not by sight,
I live for those who cannot live at all,
I live for our forefathers who brought forth this great nation “Under God,”
I live knowing I will sometimes fail,
I live from day to day not knowing what is around the bend,
I live in darkness,
I live in light,
I live for those who feel life is too hard to live,
I live out of happiness,
I live out of joy,
I live for him because he died for me…
I live, and suddenly I am overwhelmed by a presence, a peace, one that I can’t explain and as I live I feel that I am not living for myself but I am living merely for him, the one I love, the one who loves me.
