I miss you dearly

You’ll always be a part of me;
I’ll never forget.
All the memories we’ve shared
I’ll never regret.
The touch of your hand
The sound of your voice
I’ve missed you from day one.
Just wish I had a choice
I’m counting the days
Until you return,
But until you do
I’ll always have concern.
The wars
Everything I dread
With all the fighting
And the bloodshed
