Led touches paper.
Sin touches skin.
Lips taste the poison.
Hurt, pain, sadness - blend.

The warmth of another,
the blade in your hand.
The struggle to stay sober.
When it plays memories in your head.

The whisper as you tremble,
you're about to crash.
As you hide behind the demons of your past.
There is no use turning back.

The darkness sinks in,
to the light that once shone.
You let him in,
no you're left alone.

Applause to the failure.
You've forgot that love,
is a dagger to the heart.
Not commonly heard of.

Thank god for the savior,
a bottle of wine.
A stretch in time.
