Light
As she walks through what you call a forest...
She soon hopes for an ending.
You may think shes normal...
In her reality she isn't – nor will she ever be.
She sees something, a glowing light, like the sun.
You can see it to if it's your time...to leave.
She walks and it feels like forever but she makes it – she makes it out of the light.
Only hoping for what seems like freedom.
She opens the doors – the light so captivating she stands there, stunned.
You can see it too, but not as bright and moving.
She walks into the light and shes gone.
She's gone home – to her freedom.
You walk away as if nothing happened. You've never seen something so beautiful in your life, and you're not sure if you ever will again.
But you hope...only hope.
