I Come From.. Just Being Me

I come from Hispanic roots
I come from stereotypic expectations
I come from proving them wrong
I can be whoever I want to be
I know what it takes to make it
Don’t be fooled by what you hear
I am stronger than I appear
After all, I come from a strong familia
At the end of the day
I rise
I achieve
I survive
On my own or with others
As long as I know how to love
I know I’ll be alright…
I come from just being me!
