A cold clear night
The clouds are gone
In my sight
They stay there long

Stars are showing
A surprise to come
I'm unknowing
Til I hear the hum

I look up in the sky
And I see the star
Shooting by
Still bright from afar

There's joy in my soul
As I dance and I sing
To feel so whole
Is a beautiful thing

I like the message----to me, it's like in the poem's setting, to be one person, one being in that wide, vast space and just seeing it all. That's so magnificent---you expressed this in the last stanza, which just brought it home for me. The beginning made me hard to get into the poem at first, but after reading it again and again, I like it. Great job~

i can relate to this. i likeclimbling onto the roof and siting up there at night sometimes. it is a good poem
