Some people ask me why I sleep with my music so loud
Well, you see, I like being sung to sleep
By voices so I lovely, I envy
And not only that
But the melodies spilling out so loudly
Have a way of chasing away my demons
Like nothing else ever could
And singing along in my head
Has a way of chasing away my thoughts
The ones that keep me awake so late
Like nothing else ever could
So, you see, the tunes purify my dreaming
And cleanse the best my sleeping
Like nothing else ever could
It takes some getting used to, though
Sleeping with the music so loud
