Favorite Quote:
Human beings will be happier - not when they cure cancer or get to Mars or eliminate racial prejudice or flush Lake Erie but when they find ways to inhabit primitive communities again. That's my utopia.
~Kurt Vonnegut

There is a drought in the valley of my soul, in the valley of our souls
Hope has fallen down at the sound of the things that destroy us
I look around, looking for a mountain, looking for a truth, a truth that holds the key to the reason for this life

The author's comments:
I wrote it at a time that I was depressed, I was at the lowest part of my life-- feeling suicidal, feeling like I had no reason for this life. I now know that life is so big and it goes on.
