Stop
Feel that?
Hear that?
It’s the sound of silence
The clear crisp sound of nothing
Don’t hear it?
Concentrate
Its there
Just close your eyes
You’ll hear the nothing

The author's comments:
I, like many teenagers, found myself with out my iPod due to using it way too much. I sat in my room, with nothing to listen too and nothing to do, i found myself sitting in silence. Sitting in the pureness of silence. As i sat there i started to write this poem in my head and just had to get this down on paper. And this, this is the final product.
