I lost myself

I look in you're eyes
and i sense the pain
everywhere you look
you're eyes are dim
you're smile is gone
all you are is fake
I lost my friend
I lost my love
I lost myself
in you
no matter how much i struggle to get you back
you're one with the distant moon
I smash the mirror
and look at you then
you're eyes are wide with fear
tears are falling
the frown is showing
as you finally try to come near.
