The hum of planes taking flight,
In to and through the night and day,
The sounds of shoes shuffling,
Baggage rolling by their feet,
Through the street inside.
Vocals screeching,
Some robotic,
Singing off tone,
Off beat.
And then it’s there.
Instrumental silence booming louder than before.
Until the hum of planes taking flight,
In to and through the night,
Returns.

I always listened to my ipod when I traveled, but then when my ipod's battery died, I started hearing the natural music in the airport.
