Staring at an

Empty screen

Wishing, hoping

Furtively that

Your words will

Rush to fill it

I start to type

Words spilling

Across the empty

Screen, expressing

All I wish I could

Say to you

My finger hovers

Longing to press send

Before I do

What I knew I

Would



I watch all

My words disappear

Leaving only

An empty screen
