That November Night
It hurts the most to love someone that you'll never have back
All your chances-shots are gone-faded into black
It hurts the most, the emptiness, when you know they're gone
they'll be okay without you, but it still feels wrong
They said that it's the end for you, chances, you've had enough
too bad what they didn't know was how to call your bluff
They won't know the words you've screamed, the tears that hit the floor
they won't know the anticipation of wanting them to walk through your door
They said they'd keep your secrets-they did-locked on their phone
crying, you find yourself worried-scared of being alone
There's nothing you can do to change their mind now
they question if you love them as you wonder 'how?'
This is the end for both of you, a depression is in sight
but no matter what, I love you, and that November night
